How to cultivate mindfulness and joy
within our everyday surroundings

This a place for me to share the seasonal rituals that change perspective, nourishing the mind and provide tips and tools to build a happy healthy home. I want to share how in seeking out pockets of joy to be found in the everyday, how changing your environment in tune with the natural rhythm of the seasons, can boost your health and your happiness.

Embrace Seasonal
Change

As an interior designer, my goal was always to build a home of my own. And beginning in 2020, after five years of preparation, I was lucky enough to do just that.

During the process of planning, designing, managing & building my new house, I realised that I wanted to take a more holistic view of the design process. Besides looking for architectural rhythm, scale and balance based on the usual interior design principles, I sought new influences and sources of inspiration, particularly regarding biophilic design and seasonal living. I aimed to create a space that could positively influence the physical and mental behaviour of its occupants, myself and my family.

What I learned profoundly changed my interior design methodology. And I want to keep going, to keep learning and to keep evolving to make each space the very besit it can be to meet the challenges that modern living brings.

So this year, I shall kick off each season by compiling a list of interior design & wellness rituals to regularly change my perspective. Through these, I  aim to seek the pockets of joy to be found in the everyday and enjoy the mindfulness of the natural magic unfolding as the seasons pass.

Let’s embrace the joy of each season!

Each month I want to explore the themes of interior & biophilic design, seasonal rituals & diy projects to nourish my mind and create a happy and healthy home.
